Desert Mirage High School's
School-Wide Acknowledgement Programs
2019-2020 Implementation
PBIS Rewards App
How it works:
All staff/teachers/admin/support can easily recognize students for positive behavior with the PBIS Rewards App. Student recognition is as quick as scanning the student ID badge or selecting a student by name. |
|
Which type of incentive or reward should I use for students?
We can learn what type of incentives/rewards motivate individual students! Simply download and print the Forced Choice Reinforcement Survey from the link below. Either read the questions on the survey to the student or have the student complete survey on their own. Once survey is complete tally up the results in the scoring section at the end and utilize the results to develop a reward system or behavior plan with your student!
PBIS & Rewards
Schools should teach, support, and encourage students to be "self-managers." Students should not depend on extrinsic rewards to behave well. Desert Mirage administration, staff, and teachers want students to expand the skills they learn in school to life experiences beyond the classroom environment.

Deciding Which Reinforcements to Use |
The 2018-2019 pilot "RamGram" acknowledgement system of Desert Mirage High School's PBIS framework is a reinforcement reward that all students have the opportunity to earn.
The RamGram is to be used as a reinforcer for observed positive behaviors tied to the school-wide expectations, social skills, and classroom expectations. Click below to see how the RamGram acknowledgement system is implemented. |
